Sandra & Micha – Do you remember your July wedding!

It’s a new fresh year and many fellow photographers look back and remember the year that has passed by posting blog post with their favourite photos from 2011. So will I later, but when I realized that I haven’t even had time to blog all weddings yet I thought I should give some of those couples some extra attention first! So finally, Sandra & Micha, here are my story in pictures of your very hot wedding day in Skåne in July. Your wedding was by far the most joyful, happy and energetic wedding of 2011 and you are the perfect match in every way! Sandra and Micha, you are special!

Malaysia meets Sweden = Fall wedding at Grand Hotel

I have been really bad at updating this blog recently but I promise to post more often during the fall and winter than during the very, very busy wedding season! Today though, I am happy to share with you some photos from this super-beautiful-nice-gorgeous-friendly (I know that word doesn’t exist, but you get the point!) couple’s wedding last Saturday at Maria Magdalena chuch at Södermalm. I also photographed the preparations and the late afternoon dinner at Mårten Winges room at Grand Hotel and I think I can say that we all – bride, groom, guests and myself – had a great time. I couldn’t have had a better way to end a period of photographing 11 weddings in 11 weeks!

Josefine and Simon at Oscarskyrkan and Waldemarsudde

From the very first contact I had with Josefine and Simon I knew it was going to be a spectacular wedding with a very relaxed bride and groom and that they had put real effort in choosing the right photographer for them. I definately felt that they gave me a lof of appreciation for my work throughout the day which gave a lot of inspiration. Thanks Josefine and Simon, I had a lot of fun with you on your wedding at Oscarskyrkan and during the portrait session at Waldemars udde, Djurgården!
Their fantastic car was provided by Bröllopsbilar.se.

Britt-Marie’s & Per’s wedding at Södertuna slott

Time is flying and it’s already almost two weeks since Britt-Marie became Mrs Wickman at Södertuna in Gnesta. I had planned a quick blog post with some of their photos but it turned out I couldn’t just pick a few and in the end it became a pretty long post instead, I hope they don’t mind! The wedding was held at Frustuna church at one of this summer’s last really hot days and Sweden showed its best for the couple and all of their guests from near and far. Britt-Marie and Per, I would like to say that you are the best bride and groom ever but I really can’t because you share the award with Viktoria and Christoffer (one of the evening’s great toast masters!) and Helene and Henrik (part 1 and part 2)
! Weddings like yours make me end up in photographer’s heaven!

Preview from my most recent destination wedding – Åre

The bride and groom had planned to get married on the top of Åreskutan but the weather didn’t exactly agree so Gabriella and Fredik said “I do” at Åre old chuch instead. But this bride was seriously cool and wanted to do the portrait session outdoors no matter what, so we ended up walking in mud, tripping on slippery stones by the river and photographed for more than an hour in heavy rain under dark clouds!
Gabriella and Fredrik, I promised to post some previews today and here they are, the first of my photos of you as husband and wife! I had a great weekend with you, your families and friends and you have a lot of photos to look forward to!
