When I woke up on Saturday morning I quickly realized that it would be a rainy day. But, we got lucky and had at least 20-30 minutes without rain during the portrait session at Edsbergs slott in Sollentuna. After the small and private ceremony the couple and close family enjoyed a relaxing boat trip to Bockholmen in Solna. And yes, I had the pleasure to be with them all the way! It was a happy rainy day!

Classic beauty in black & white – silhouette portrait

A wedding portrait is not only about capturing a look but to find emotions and special moments throughout the day, that tells a story and makes the person remember the wedding. So, even if the actual portrait session is an important – and very funny! – part of the day, many great portraits are captured without the couple even knowing it. This is one exampel, a photo of the bride in her suite when the make up artist makes her look even more beautiful under a glistening chandelier.

BBQ party – the sunny Friday before the big day

The actual wedding day is of course the BIG day but I think the days before have so much to offer as well, in terms of expectations, preparations and – not to forget – time with family and friends! So, why don’t gather everyone for a day before BBQ-party like J & M did in Visby last week! During the dinner I noticed the beautiful sunset and asked J & M to give me five minutes in the garden and I’m glad they said yes!

Preview from J’s & M’s wedding day in Visby 28 April!

I have been looking forward to this day since I first met with Johanna and heard about her and Mårten’s wedding in Visby (Domkyrkan/Visby Hotell). I had never before visited Gotland and what could be a better reason than a fantastic wedding! I have thousands of photos to go through after this 16 hours work day and I assure you there are M.A.N.Y. great photos to work with and show you later on. In a week or two I definately will post more photos! And now, a few ones to start with!

Only six weeks to go – a new family member is on its way!

It’s only six weeks until Connie and Anders will get a new little family member and I promise it will be the most adorable baby ever – just look at the parents! I hope to be able to show more photos of this pregnant beauties later but I promised the couple to have a first look of the pictures before I post more. So, just hold on and be patient :-) .
