Linnea and Daniel are now, since two days, Mr & Mrs Nordenström, congratulations! Their wedding day at Såstaholm was a very sunny story and I have to admit that it's not always the wedding photographer's favourite choice for an outdoor wedding ceremony. But, last Saturday without doubt gave this couple a sunny start of a long and happy life together and here are a few photos of their wedding day that I have picked for a preview of what they can expect in their private wedding photo gallery in a couple of weeks! Yesterday I photographed a wedding (first photos will be posted tomorrow) and today I have had two very different photo sessions, so I'm glad it's Monday tomorrow so I can take a break! Yes, I will prepare a wedding post then but apart from that I have promised myself to do nothing that can be described as work tomorrow! How it went today? A couple of days ago I did a portrait photo session for "no special reason" at all with Emily and Pontus and I think more couples should do this! We simply walked around and found locations close to my studio that suited this funky couple's style. And what can I say, I love the candy they brought and the relaxed feeling between them!

Early morning with Birgersdotter for Nyfiken Grön

Two weeks ago I put my alarm at 4.45 am to get up for an early morning shoot in Kungsträdgården in Stockholm with my photographer friend and colleague Sandra Birgersdotter. Yesterday I got my copy of the latest issue of the Swedish wedding magazine Allt om Bröllop and in it I found a reportage about Emma's and Magnus' wedding in July 2010. Joe Buissink wedding photography workshop in Stockholm

The fantastic and lovable person and wedding photographer Joe Buissink is in Stockholm and yesterday I met him and many of my Swedish wedding photographer colleagues to be inspired! And what a day it was, despite rain, hail showers, windy weather and cold. For me, it was amazing. It was new inspiration. It made me remember why I love to photograph. It was warmth. Joe, you're not only a high end top photographer, you see and bring love to people around you. I needed this. Thanks!

The seminar and workshop was arranged by Scandinavian Photo and Jenny Blad, my friend and coordinator, I send you a warm hug as well!

During the afternoon we photographed and even though I was more eager to listen, watch and learn than to actually shoot myself I ended up taking some pictures anyway. First, we have a red beauty, Kristina. She is with NMG Models and she blew me away! All photos shot with Canon 5D MarkII and Canon 135 mm f2.0L (wide open, as always...). The photos of Kristina have been post processed in Lightroom only (no Photoshop).

The group of photographers was divided in two and we had two models to work with. The second one was Jessica Skogsberg. She is not only a model but also a makeupartist and she did a fabulous job!

During her session I had borrowed a tilt shift lens from Canon, 45 mm, really tricky to get everything right when sharing the model with so many other photographers. But fun!

I woke up quite late today after a long and inspiring day yesterday at a workshop with one of the world's greatest wedding photographers, Joe Buissink. I will tell you more about that and show you photos later but now I want to share what made me wake up with a smile today! I got an e-mail, telling me that one of my weddings is featured on the Pretty Chic Blog! The PC Blog is awesome and it's a great site for everyone who wants to get inspired and read and see a lot of photos from great weddings from all over Scandinavia.
