About a month ago I visited Gotland for the first time and what could be a better reason to do it than photographing a fantastic wedding! Johanna and Mårten are perfect together and made my job pure pleasure! I post "a few" favourites here at the blog but I have also made a portfolio album with their photos, don't miss to check it out here!

It may be mentioned that the two photos below are shot almost exactly the same time! One by me and the other by my assistant Mats Guting. One moment - two photos!

Last Saturday was without doubt the most rainy wedding photography day of this year so far but really, I couldn't care less! My couple had chosen their location well and an imaginary sun always shine over

Today, June 1, it's nine years since they became a couple and it's also almost exactly nine month since they became pregnant. So, I'm not sure if this cute belly still holds its gift or if the baby is on it's way to this world already. I haven't heard anything about it and I have actually planned to meet them tonight to go see a movie so I hope not. But you'll never know :-)! Connie and Anders, you look wonderful!

Many people think they need a special reason to book a professional photographer but why? Why can't you do it just to get great photos of the most important part of your life - your life right here and now! Live the moment and take photos to remember it!
Sunday May 13 was a big day, Sanjas christening, and almost exactly two years earlier I photographed

Love is a v.e.r.y. international language and the wedding I photographed last Saturday truly is good evidence! The couple has asked me not to post any photos of their faces because they want to keep their wedding pictures private, so I will only share a few anonymous photos with you. Happy sunny Monday to you all!
I love to photograph and I love to be a wedding photographer mainly because I enjoy capturing peoples' emotions, special moments and the wedding couples' beauty. In addition to that I have another passion - gold and diamonds..... So, I have put together a few detail shots of wedding rings and hope you enjoy that kind of small glittering things as much as I do!
When I woke up on Saturday morning I quickly realized that it would be a rainy day. But, we got lucky and had at least 20-30 minutes without rain during the portrait session at Edsbergs slott in Sollentuna. After the small and private ceremony the couple and close family enjoyed a relaxing boat trip to Bockholmen in Solna. And yes, I had the pleasure to be with them all the way! It was a happy rainy day!

A wedding portrait is not only about capturing a look but to find emotions and special moments throughout the day, that tells a story and makes the person remember the wedding. So, even if the actual portrait session is an important - and very funny! - part of the day, many great portraits are captured without the couple even knowing it. This is one exampel, a photo of the bride in her suite when the make up artist makes her look even more beautiful under a glistening chandelier.
The actual wedding day is of course the BIG day but I think the days before have so much to offer as well, in terms of expectations, preparations and - not to forget - time with family and friends! So, why don't gather everyone for a day before BBQ-party like J & M did in Visby last week! During the dinner I noticed the beautiful sunset and asked J & M to give me five minutes in the garden and I'm glad they said yes!
