June 16 was another rainy Saturday this summer but my first lovely wedding couple of the day (I photographed two couples) was lucky! They had booked their portrait session at 9.45 am and we just made it before the rain started. Frida and Simon may be one of my sweetest couple in a looooong time and it wasn't difficult at all to have them snuggle - and it shows!

We are in the middle of the wedding season and tomorrow I have two weddings to photograph, one portrait session early in the morning and after I'll drive like crazy to my second wedding starting at noon. But, before I start gathering my stuff for tomorrow I want to post more photos from Anna's and Lars' wedding last week. If you want your guests to blow soap bubbles after your wedding, here's the tip of the day!
The small, romantic and cute special wedding bubbles you can buy at wedding sites etc. might look very "weddinglike" but sometimes they are't as efficient as you might want. But, if you gear up one or two of the younger wedding guests with a soap bubble cannon (I'm not sure about the proper English word here..., look at the B/W photo below) and tell them they have a special and very important assignment, you will be completely drowned in bubbles! These soap bubble cannons can be bought at toy stores and may prove to be a small but good investment.

Anna and Lars booked me 17 month ago and after waiting that long it was so great to finally have them in front of my camera! After most weddings I photograph I go home to relax when I leave the couple but this is an exception. They leave for their honeymoon on Monday and I promised them to post a few first photos before so they can see them. So, here they are, including some photos from the love birds' first look. More photos will be posted later!

About a month ago I visited Gotland for the first time and what could be a better reason to do it than photographing a fantastic wedding! Johanna and Mårten are perfect together and made my job pure pleasure! Last Saturday was without doubt the most rainy wedding photography day of this year so far but really, I couldn't care less! My couple had chosen their location well and an imaginary sun always shine over Såstaholm Gård in Täby, where both ceremony and reception were held. Today, June 1, it's nine years since they became a couple and it's also almost exactly nine month since they became pregnant. So, I'm not sure if this cute belly still holds its gift or if the baby is on it's way to this world already. I haven't heard anything about it and I have actually planned to meet them tonight to go see a movie so I hope not. But you'll never know :-)! Connie and Anders, you look wonderful!

Sunday May 13 was a big day, Sanjas christening, and almost exactly two years earlier I photographed her mom and dad's wedding at the very same church in Stockholm, S:t Jacobs church. It's so nice for me to be able to follow "my" couples and to see them again some time after the wedding! Sanja was very sweet and she was happy all the time, both during photo session and in church. The perfect baby :-)!
