I have found two quotes on Facebook that have spoken to me on a personal level and today I want to share them with you. The first one, originally said by P. Coelho quoted by my former bride Tanja Erkkilä, goes "Don't compare your life to others. You have no idea about their sufferings." The other one (I don't know the origin, written at Facebook by Jesse Odesho) says "Be thankful for what you have; you'll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don't have; you will never, ever have enough."
It's late and I won't go into details on why these quotes speak so strongly to me but what I can say is that I have struggled all my life to like myself for who I am and not only for what I do or achieve. But now, finally, I am beginning to (but I'm not there yet!) to shift perspective and find my own place in this world. My place. Where I want to be. Not because I'm supposed or obliged to but because I have chosen it. I have always, and always will in many ways, wanted perfection but I am now learning that perfection is not just about control and what seems perfect. It's also about letting go. So, this is what I leave you with tonight, a wish that you already have or soon will find what makes you feel home and at ease with yourself.
And, because this is a photo blog more than anything else, I also want to share a first teaser from Britt-Marie's and Per's wedding at Södertuna last Saturday. I was with them the whole day and in a day or two I will post a lot more photos from their wedding.
Good night!
