A modern bride with model talent and a sense of fashion!

When I met Anna before her wedding she told me that the dress was an important part of her wedding. Later, when I saw it on her wedding day, I instantly knew that she has a unique sense of style and wanted to have something more than the ordinary, just look at these photos!

Usually I try to avoid bright sun for portraits but when I had a bride like this in front of the camera there was no doubt I had to go for some fashion inspired photos with a genuine model feeling to them. All photos are shot with Canon 5D EOS MarkII (as always) and Canon 100 mm f2.8 macro (yes, it's actually also a great portrait lens!) wide open, the close up portrait 1/4000 s and the other portrait 1/2500. Only natural light, i.e. no fill light, bouncers, reflectors etc.

A Lindísima day that's all about YOU and photography !

I love portrait photography. I love weddings. I love people and from other areas of expertise I know I love to teach. So, could this maybe be combined in any way? Well, I have thought about that for some time and recently I dived into the new and unknown and actually said "Yes" to one of the many requests I get by e-mail and phone! So, last week I spent an afternoon talking about my workflow and post processing with a photographer who wants to develop his photography and take it a step forward. But honestly, we spent most of the time talking about how HE works, what he does good and what could be done in a smarter way. And yes, even though he had learnt a lot and was really happy when he left I realized that I also felt great and that I wanted to do that kind of private session talking about photography again! So, here's the deal.

I offer a private session that could be about anything as long as it has to do with photography. YOU decide the topic and I will answer any question you have if I can. If you want to go outside to shoot portraits of a model, that's fine. If you want to learn more about the basics of photography, I'll give you an individually designed crash course based on your recent level of knowledge. If you want to talk about the photography business, how to start and for instance the eternal question about pricing, I would love to share my experience with you. If you want to learn more about my workflow after a wedding or another photo shoot, well, then I'll tell you. Basicly, YOU are in charge and decide what we should do during our time together! And don't forget, a private session like this might also be the perfect gift for someone interested in photography and you can of course book this experience as a present for someone you care for!

Private sessions are available in Solna/Stockholm on weekdays (if we don't decide otherwise). You can book 3 or 5 hours, pricing 2,800/4,400 SEK incl. VAT. If you book a session together with one friend you'll both get 30% off and if you book a session with two friends (maximum) you'll all get 40% off. If you're interested, send me an e-mail at info@lindisima.se.

And don't forget that you can buy a gift voucher for a session to someone who wants to learn more about photography!

The photo above? It's from a wedding 3 July with many trigger happy photographers among the guests in church!

Och ja, självklart kommer jag normalt sett att prata svenska även om jag skriver allt på bloggen på engelska!

Beautiful, sensual, extravagant and very fun boudoir shots!

Who do you think is the typical boudoir shot client? Well, if you you think there is only one type you're definately not up to date! Many times it's a bride to be who wants to take some private, sensual yet very elegant and beautiful photos and sometimes it's just a woman of any age and size that wants to give herself a luxury treat of the more unusual kind. Or, maybe it's like this drop dead gorgeous woman, who didn't know at all until I showed up with my camera at her bachelorette party at Grand Hôtel!

Mr & Mrs - Time to select your favourite wedding photos!

I think most wedding couples really look forward to get access to their private web photo gallery with all the photos from their wedding day, and today is the day for Åsa and Egon! They got married in Låssa church 11 days ago and now the fun-but-difficult part starts, they have to choose their favourites! Here are some of the ones I like!

French Stockholm wedding with style, gold and glamour

Yesterday I photographed Anna's and Olivier's destination wedding in Stockholm and what a day it was! The city really showed off all of it's summer beauty for the guests from all over the world and so did the bride and groom who live in Paris. I will post more photos later but for now I blog only a few previews of what's to come!

Costa Smeralda wedding - Mina & Sumit - part 3

Okay, I admit, I should have posted more portraits earlier but I haven't been able to! I simply had to look through all shots of this great couple first and that has taken some time. Anyway, here are the portraits from Mina's and Sumit's wedding in Sardinia in June, starting with the couple's first look of the day.

As always, I try to shoot as much as I can without flash and so did I also this time. But, the reflector held by my assistant/husband was absolutely necessary this time, the sun were really, really bright!

After having shot the first portraits close to their family's house, we went to the small mountain village where Mina lived when she was a kid, San Pantaleo. There we took a few photos as well even if it was difficult to find suitable light during the middle of the day. In addition to that, the square was occupied because of preparations for the evening festivities due to the regatta at Porto Cervo. But, it's always possible to get some great shots!

At the end of the portrait session we headed back to the coast to Porto Cervo where these photos were taken.  Finally I found some open shade and and love, love, love these ones!

Mina and Sumit, you are both soooo nice and you made our stay in Sardinia something to remember for a long time! I know you're perfect for each other and both my husband and I wish you the very best!

Ordinary love, really don't think so, not a love this true

Pure happiness, that's how I would describe the feeling during yesterday's very sunny summer wedding. The bride and groom were both very relaxed and truly showed what a wedding should be about - love, happiness, friends and family! Oh yes, the to-die-for dress from Garamaj, a truly amazing bouquet and a long Pronovia's veil added some extra beauty but really, the bride glowed so she would have looked good in anything!

They got married in Låssa church and nobody could miss that the day was all about Åsa and Egon, or as they would say, it was all about me and you.

I just love this kind of soft black and white photos and once again I had to object against the bride who said she's never looking good at photos!

Yes, I am a wedding photographer with love for details!

Yes, I confess..... I am kind of a wedding ring addict! Yesterday night Teno and I visited some friends that recently got married and I just couldn't keep myself from taking a closer look at the new bling. Unfortunately we couldn't be with them on their wedding day because I was since long booked for a wedding abroad the same week. But, nothing could stop me from a detailed study of their beautiful wedding rings from Vasastans Guldsmedja!

Make your wedding photographer happy - No. 2!

Just hours after I uploaded my previous post I got mail..... another wedding invitation! This time it was an invitation to a wedding in September. The bride and groom to be live abroad and I met them for the first time recently, and I know for sure they will be a great wedding couple!

Do you want to make your wedding photographer happy?

Well, in that case you should do as Åsa and Egon! They are getting married on Saturday and guess if I put on a big smile when I found this invitation in my mail yesterday! I suppose I should have taken a photo before I opened it, but I was just to curious. Most of my clients are super sweet to me and it gives so much extra inspiration during the shoot. Thanks Åsa and Egon!
