Yesterday Gosia Cervin from Inframe Photography came to me for a private session to talk and learn more about how I post process my photos, colour management and retouching. But, it didn't stop there, she also got a crash course in how I work with boudoir photography and she did the modeling part perfectly! Gosia, now I have proved that you do look good in front of the camera. One point to me!

As I told you yesterday I have had a buzy weekend but I can't complain because I got the chance to photograph Sofia and Lars in Vallentuna church and at Såstaholm Gård in Täby! They had a great day and when I left them I just knew that the evening would be just as great. It can't be any other way at Såstaholm!

I just love to come home after a wedding and take a first look at the photos. Honestly, I think that appart from the actual photo shoot, that's the favourite part of my work. So, after having had two large weddings Friday and Saturday and a pre wedding shoot yesterday this Monday has been great even though I haven't had time to prepare a full blog post. So, today I give you a first taste of what's to come tomorrow, photos from Sofia's and Lars' wedding at Såstaholm in Täby. Enjoy, there's more to come!

These photos were shot July 25, exactly one month before this couple will say "Yes, I do". I am very happy to be their wedding photographer from early morning til midnight and after their pre wedding family session I know it will be a very relaxed and great wedding!

Last Friday I woke up early to go to Blidö for a family portrait session. Marie and Andreas had invited their families to celebrate their youngest child and wanted to take the opportunity to take family pictures. However, the invited guests soon found out that they hadn't been told the whole truth - it was also a wedding on the beach! Marie and Andreas, my best wishes to you both and here is a small teaser, a few photos from your wedding day!

The ingredients for these pictures were: me with one camera and two lenses (50 mm and 85 mm), an assistant (Mats of course) holding a thousand things (in the end he had to hold the clothes that kind of came off along the way.....), a man, a woman, some flowers, the beach in Mellbystrand, a sky with fantastic summer clouds, a freezing cold ocean and a lot of passion! And as a special message to A's and L's friends who may see this - no, they haven't eloped and got married without inviting you. It may seem like that but no, after one first date in 15 years that should maybe have been a little to much. But I'm happy they wanted to be in front of my camera and they really worked it! And who knows what might happen in the future....

Apparently, I am a quick and effective photographer. I took up my camera and shoot the first photo at 17.58 and the last 18.12. So, 14 minutes, that might be one of my shortest portrait sessions so far and this is what came out of it! The spontaneous and very, very goodlooking models? Well, the best models a photographer and woman like me can get of course - Mats and his mother. Who this gorgeous looking guy is? If you know me well, you know! And you don't need to be part of my family to book me for an 1 hour spontaneous portrait session, alone or with someone you love - just do it, I'm working all summer!

Your wedding could be a great opportunity to give a very private gift to your someone special. But, don't forget that you don't have to get married to do this - your someone special could just as well be yourself or your best friend who needs an ego boost! This woman actually is getting married soon but I think she is also celebrating herself and her new look!
Finally I have managed to sort out a number of photos from Danel's and Jonathan's wedding last Saturday but it wasn't easy! I leave it by that, saying nothing more, confident that these pictures show their love and their wedding day story in a good way. Danel and Jonathan, you were great to work with!

I feel I should have blogged this couple's wedding today but I have realized it just won't work. I can't limit myself and choose my favourites.... Yes, it is a problem even though I guess one might say it's a good one! So for today, I give you only a little something from their portrait session at Gärdet in Stockholm. And I promise, there will be more!
